BREAKING: INEC Announces Date For Collation And Announcement Of Rivers Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced plans and dates for the collation and announcement of governorship election results in Rivers state.

According to the electoral umpire, the collation and announcement of election results for Rivers State will hold between April 2 and 5.

INEC made the announcement on Thursday during a press conference ahead of the Saturday’s supplementary elections.

CURRENT NEWS NOW recalls INEC had suspended the March 9 governorship electoral process in Rivers state, citing widespread conflict and violence.
