BREAKING: Boko Haram Opens Fire On Worshipers In Northern Nigeria, Kidnaps Many

Gunmen suspected to be Abubakar Shekau’s boko haram terrorists, have attacked Muslims on Saturday, while observing Tahajjud, a prayer observed in the last ten days of Ramadan.

It was learnt from an eyewitness, that the terrorists opened fire on a congregation at a Mosque, in Sajeri, close to Ajilari Cross, a satellite town of Maiduguri.

Many residents and members of the congregation have fled the community for safety.

A resident of the area who also fled to neighbouring Ngomari Airport area, Malama Lucy, said that about a dozen people may have been taken away by the rampaging insurgents, to an unknown destination.

She said that the attack took many residents of the area by surprise, rising the blood pressure of many, including her mother, who is hypertensive.
