The highest decision making body of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Badagry Federal Constituency has unanimously accepted and prayed for the aspiration of Prince Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan to clinch the sole ticket available to represent Badagry Federal Constituency by 2023 at the National Assembly.
This time bi-monthly stakeholders meeting was held at Suntan Beach Multi-purpose Hall, Sakpo, Badagry on Saturday, 13th of November 2023.
The meeting which was led by Chief Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, OON, the immediate past Lagos State APC Deputy Chairman, has other notable leaders such as Chief Waheed Hassan, Chief Owolabani, Chief Olatunde Joseph, the Afobaje of Ilogbo-Eremi Kingdom, Pa Adeniyi Tijani, two of the three Council Chairmen in Badagry, Hon. Samson Olatunde, the chairman of Olorunda Lcda and Hon. Gbenu Hennugbe, the council Chairman of Badagry West local council development area; Alhaji Gafar Meyon, the APC LGA Chairman, Badagry Local Government, Alhaji Adeniyi Balogun, the APC LGA Secretary, Badagry; Hon. Ibrahim Layode and Engr. Setonji David, both are members of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Bonu Ṣàánú, Special Adviser to Governor of Lagos State on Arts and Culture, Chief Ajanosin, Chief Oluranti Ajose, a former member, Lagos State House of Assembly, among others.
the meeting which was held with the sole aim of having a unifying voice for Badagry in all matters regarding the development of the ancient city in the polity of Lagos and Nigeria at large came to an interlude when Hon sesinu oluwaseun whigan and his entourage came to visit and to ask for the blessing of the core leaders regarding his aspiration to contest for the member representing Badagry federal constituency in Abuja come 2023.
The leadership was full of praises of Sesi Whingan and his decision to join the race. They expressed delight and appreciation at the numerous developmental, socio-political, and humanitarian initiatives he has embarked on in Badagry Federal Constituency.
