What Has He Done That he is begging for 2ND Term? ...Badagrians on Social Media dig out What Hon Bamgbose Did, Says Incumbent did not perform up this.

As election draws near, Badagrians on Social Media has dug out the achievements of previous house of representatives members, Hon Bamgbose in comparison to what the incumbent has done and why he did not deserve 2nd term.

He achieved all this in 3years without a speaker from his state (LAGOS) yet they denied him second term. What have the advocates and beneficiaries of one man one term done different. Me am just asking ni ooooo!!!

3 YEARS OF DISTINCTIVE REPRESENTATION....

Hon. Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph emerged from a very competitive election never seen before in the political history of Badagry. Undaunted and determined to leave a mark despite being a first time legislator in the Federal House of Representatives.

Since he was elected to the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph has left no one in doubt of his legislative abilities in the GREEN CHAMBER as his experience as a two term legislator in the Lagos State House of Assembly came to bear. He has hit the ground running through effective sponsorship and contribution to Bills and Motions amid other legislative function and interventions which when aggregated, reflects his commitment to the development of Badagry Federal Constitutuency and Nigerian as a nation.

Hon. Bamgbose Joseph commands respect among his colleagues as well as reserves the confidence of the House leadership so much so that he was appointed into a few House Committees of the House of Representatives such as Appropriation, Federal Judiciary, Capital Market & Institutions , FERMA, Culture and Tourism, Local Content, Population, Army, and so many others. For a first timer, to earn membership in those committees is not mean feat.

In the area of job opportunities, Hon. Bamgbose has been able to facilitate the employment of twenty one (21) members of his constituents in both federal and state establishments such as National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Federal High Court, Supreme Court, Appeal Court of Nigeria, Industrial Court of Nigeria, NSCDC, Army, Federal Government Social Intervention Scheme, LASTMA, SUBEB and Lagos Neighbourhood Security Corps.

He has also attracted federal projects/programs to his constituency to the admiration of all. Some of the infrastructure development projects are highlighted below;
• Construction of link road to Wesere village and box culverts is ongoing
• Rehabilitation of Gbaji – Owode road (This project has commenced from the Owode axis) is ongoing
• Provision of solar powered borehole in Ajara Vetho
• Provision of pipe borne water system in the following communities across Badagry Federal Constituency; Dadi – Luwi, Obele, Erekiti, Itohun, Agbovipe,

Also, Hon Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph has invested heavily in the empowerment of his constituents in various capacities such;
• Welfare program for aged and widows (100 beneficiaries)
• Entrepreneurship training for Fashion Designers and Hair Dressers with provision of equipments (50 beneficiaries)
• Machinery and equipments were distributed to his constituents during the Mega empowerment program (524 beneficiaries). Equipments shared are Block Moulding Machine (3), Motocycle (31), Grinding Machine (63), Sewing Machine (64), Traders (51), Barbing kits (40), Hairdressing machine (60), Pop corn machine (80), Vulcanizing machine (12), Cash for petty traders (113), Shoe making machine (1), Scholarship for students (6)
• Skill acquisition training and empowerment for young women in collaboration with NAPTIP (20 beneficiaries)
• Skill acquisition training for youths across Badagry (60 beneficiaries)
• Agricultural training in three categories, Cassava Production and Value Chain, Poultry and Snail farming, with provision of starter pack and cash for each participants (132 beneficiaries)

In the area of empowerment/welfare/employment of his constituents, Hon Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph has empowered Nine hundred and seven (907) members of his constituency in 3 years.

As he strives to ensure continued progress to the Badagry community, it is of note that the need to fix the Badagry Express road is an urgent task and moves have been made to ensure government respond swiftly. He also promised to ensure that all ongoing projects are completed in due course.

Hon Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph seeks the continued support of all in ensuring Badagry attain its rightful place.
