Nigerians can now breathe a sigh of relief amid petrol price and electricity tariff hike as the federal government has commenced the distribution of funds as COVID-19 palliatives.
This was confirmed by President Muhammadu Buhari during the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) convened virtually, Channels TV reports.
President Buhari, during his speech, disclosed that the government has disbursed palliatives worth N10.9 billion to both households and businesses in the country to help Nigerians cope with the devasting effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
