Official results from local government areas in Edo State have started coming in.
Elections were held in all the 2,627 polling units in the 18 local government areas of the state.
Current news now has reported the results from the polling units, which were then collated in different wards before the results of the wards were collated in the local governments
A total of 14 parties are taking part in the elections although it is seen as a straight contest between Governor Godwin Obaseki of the PDP and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
