Former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, on Tuesday mocked the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu over his suspension by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Fayose said the development gladdened him even as he recalled how Magu ordered he should be placed on watchlist while he was still a governor with constitutional immunity.
He said Magu’s reward has come.
Fayose in a Tweet on Tuesday also pleaded with the Federal Government to place Magu on the watch list .
Magu, who was quizzed by a presidential panel on allegations of corruption was suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
