Elder Statesman and Chieftain of Yoruba Socio-cultural group, Afenifere, while speaking in an interview with Daily Sun, on the state of the nation, said it is a miracle that despite the worsening situation in the country, people are still surviving.

He said the current covid-19 pandemic has exposed ‘our nakedness’ as a nation, and that the situation becomes even more hopeless when a struggling country is governed with nepotism with impunity.
