AMBODE appoints Prof. Fidelis Njokanma, an Igbo man as Acting VC of Lasu!

Prof. Fidelis Njokanma has been appointed as the acting Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Ojo, by Lagos State Government The Deputy Governor of the state, Dr.Oluranti Adebule, discosed in a letter to the Registrar of the university, Mr. Lewis Akinwunmi.

Njokanma, who was until his appointment, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), of the institution, takes over from embattled Prof. John Obafunwa, whose tenure ended last October 31. Njokanma, a professor of Medicine, according to the statement, noted that he would act as the VC of the institution until the appointment of a substantive vice-chancellor.
