The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has congratulated all the 37 ministerial nominees, Former Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi inclusive, whose confrimations were just completed by the Senate.
Saraki sent his congratulatory message to the ministers shortly after the last nominee, Amaechi was confirmed, and senate plenary adjourned till November 3rd.
The Senate after much deliberation today, Thursday, approved the nomination of former governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi as minister
It also confirmed the nomination of 17 others. They are Adebayo Shittu, Kadjiat Abba Ibrahim, Heineken Lokpobiri, Claidius Omoyele Daramola, Baba Shehuri Mustapha, James Ocholi, Isaac Folorunsho Adewole, Bawa Bwari, Geoffrey Onyeama and Zainab Ahmed.
Others are Masur Mohammed Danladi, Usani Uguru, Okechukwu Elemanah, Anthony Anwuka, Mohammed Musa Bello, Adamu Adamu and Aisha Abubakar.
The confirmation was done by only senators of the All Progressives Congress as their PDP counterparts staged a walkout in protest.
