Despite the poor state of the Nigeria’s economy, President Muhammadu Buhari has led a shocking 86-man delegation to the United Nations general assembly in New York.
Also, his wife Aisha Buhari who is separately attending the UNGA storm US with 22 persons, including wives of Governors. Her delegation is reportedly privately financed.
According to Sahara Reporters, the breakdown of the President’s team includes 16 man presidential advance team, 14 presidential aides, 32 ministers and aides, 24 officials of foreign affairs and other MDAs.
When contacted, Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina said he does not have the total figure of the President’s delegate to the United Nation’s General Assembly, however, promised to make the figure known, Naij.com report says.
The 86-man delegation Mr Buhari that escorted Mr Buhari to the UN general assembly is in defiance to the recently launched “Change Begins With Me’’ campaign which is to entrench the values of accountability, integrity and inculcate positive attitudinal change in Nigerians.
