Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has confirmed he would be in Arochukwu on December 3, 2016 for the burial of late Mrs Sussan Nwannediya Kanu Iheme (Udonachi Oha), the mother of former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu, reports.

Governor Ikpeazu has also ordered and mobilized the chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State for immediate rehabilitation of the Ohafia/Arochukwu Road to ease vehicular traffic before, during and after the burial.

Accordingly, the Abia State government has provided hotel accommodation at Umuahia for Nwankwo Kanu’s guests who would be attending the burial on December 3.

Chairman of the burial committee, Pastor Onyebuchi Abia confirmed this development, assuring that all arrangements are in progress to give “Mama Atlanta ’96” a befitting burial.
